U.S. Navy Capt. Sara Taylor assumed command of Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, the U.S. military's sole enduring base in Africa. She relieved Capt. Eilis Cancel, who led the camp since spring 2024. Rear Adm. Brad Collins, Commander, Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central, presided.
