There's a yellow heat-health alert next week from 9am Monday 24 June and 6pm on Thursday 27 June. Keep hydrated, stay in the shade, apply sunscreen, wear a hat, sunglasses and light, loose fitting clothes and if you can, avoid extreme physical activity.

A yellow heat-health alert is in place until 5pm on Thursday 27 June. Check in on older friends, family and neighbours. Particularly those who live alone, who may struggle to keep themselves cool and hydrated during the hot weather.

A yellow heat-health alert continues to be in place for the next few days. Stay safe in the sun, and regularly apply sunscreen of at least SPF 30 and 4 or 5 star ultraviolet A (UVA) protection to exposed skin.
