There’s a line between fair criticism and defamation. Graves runs a master class about how to deal with defamation. Good on him for responding this way. Anyone can file a claim re defamatory statements in small claims court so there’s no reason to take that type of abuse.

I think the NBE3U course is a valuable step in the direction of reconciliation. There is nothing wrong with it being the mandatory grade 11 course. I question the framing of this story and the headline...you can already see the anti-Indigenous racism in the comments. #OntEd

The harassment that educators face by, let’s face it, conservative and anon accounts should be criminal. That teachers and other school staff become such targets that safety plans need to be made should be criminal.
