Families can enjoy a whole host of activities as part of a cycle event this weekend, Sunday 2nd July. Cairney Cycles, Newmains Community Trust and Getting Better Together Shotts are hosting a bike swap shop day in Newmains. GBT Shotts are also providing cycling activities .

Today we said goodbye to a living legend, Ms Monica Darragh, who left us after 39 and a half years of outstanding service to the school and wider Shotts community. To say she will be missed is an understatement. We all wish her the most fabulous retirement 🍾

Today it was the turn of John Robertson, AKA "The Fastest HT in the 'shire" who said his final farewell to Calderhead & his teaching career. He will always be remembered fondly by staff & pupils alike. We thank you for all you have done over the years.

S2 pupils had a fantastic trip to Newcollegelanarkshire yesterday. They developed their knowledge of CAD in the workplace and they were given the opportunity to model a house in Autodesk Revit and adapt a part for a working motor in Autodesk Inventor. #CAD Calderhead HS CHS Technologies
