Miss having our monthly outreach meetings in person, but this is a good substitute for now. Thanks for the lunch, cnsieducation!
“I’ve been working on being kinder to myself by taking breaks and constantly reminding myself that mistakes happen, and that I am enough.” You’re more than enough and such an inspiration, Sophia King ❤️
Congrats to Yutong and Schwartz Research Group @UCLA on their recent Chemistry of Materials paper 🎉 In their work, they show how the formation of charge transfer complexes in P3HT/F4TCNQ can be controlled by changing the processing solvent. You can read more here: pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
Congrats to our current & former students who received prestigious 2021 #NSFGRFP Awards & Honorable Mentions! bit.ly/3rp8Zvc @jrcaram Ken Houk @Organomimetic @SlettenGroup @keribackus Chong Liu Nelson Group @Garglab @Tolbertlab Ellen Sletten Heather D Maynard
First in-person lab to be offered at UCLA Chem & Biochem in a year! This is the first time that some of the first year grad students are seeing each other in person 🥺 We split the class up in 2 smaller sections to keep occupancy low and make sure we follow all social distancing protocols.
thanks, UCLA Chem & Biochem! honored 😍
Congrats to Charlene Salamat and Schwartz Research Group @UCLA collaborators on their latest paper 🎉 They find that counterion position controls whether two polarons can spin-pair to form bipolarons in P3HT films or if they strongly couple without spin-pairing.
