Our Network Meeting started with a tribute to our colleague Gill Regan, who passed away unexpectedly in December. Claire Baker led the tributes and introduced a video from a family Gill supported.

4) There’s another children’s book on the way! 👧🏾🦔 This one covers anxiety and adjusting to diagnosis, and has lots of strategies for helping stressed out families relaaaaaaaaaaax. This should be out in Wales in May

The afternoon session of the network session begins with Professor Colin Dayan Cardiff University introducing research into immunotherapy which may change treatment for people newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

The penultimate presentation and final virtual presentation of the network meeting is by Diana Yardley from Oxford, asking healthcare professionals in Wales to contribute to research into safeguarding and child protection.
