My son coaches hockey and is required to have a police check. We have a Leader of the Opposition, running to be PM, who apparently has not received a security clearance. Why? Is he hiding something or did he fail? Why is it not a pre requisite for that position?

The next election will be a crucial moment in Canadian history. I haven’t always supported or agreed with the Prime Minister. But I know a fighter when I see one. A leader who can work through challenges and differences with courage and urgency. I’m in your corner Justin Trudeau.

Singh is single handedly driving his voting base toward the Liberals, Greens & the Bloq with his comments on the carbon tax. The CT actually provides financial gain to 80% of the middle class and the financially vulnerable. It makes big polluters pay. He presents no alternative.

The Ontario Liberals really missed out by not naming Erskine-Smith their leader. And if you wanted a post-Trudeau leadership candidate - I know, I know, outsider, maverick, not a cabinet minister, etc - I think Erskine-Smith can understand and communicate issues in a way few can.

Imagine the chaos and embarrassment if Canada ever elected a Prime Minister who could not pass a top secret security clearance. The Conservative Party leader must secure this clearance before the next election. Actually, before his party can credibly table a non-confidence motion.
