A few years ago, this area in North Hyde Lane was hidden under rubbish. Thanks to HH staff and Heston Action Group, it was transformed. It's now a space we maintain bi-annually. The flourishing elm trees, alongside bird boxes, are a testament to community spirit. #HounslowHighways

We were delighted to find this 10cm flounder fry when kick sampling the tidal Crane by Northcote Nature Reserve yesterday. There is so little of this habitat left in the tidal Thames so it is great to confirm that the lower Crane is being used by them
