Grateful to the team at Contemporary Verse 2 | Contemporary Verse 2 for giving my poem a home in this stunning issue. Along with 6 other phenomenal poets, I will be reading my poem "Say my name" (for my father -Mukuka, me- Mubanga and my son - Mutale) tomorrow. Please come if you can🫶🏾
Little reminder to those poets still on this hellscape who haven't published a first full book. The Foster Poetry prize is doing an early bird ask for poems, submit through Contemporary Verse 2 and if you are QTBIPOC and can't afford the entry fee, dm me, I could cover a couple of fees.
Triplet of poems out in the new summer issue of Contemporary Verse 2 . About trash burning, about home decor, and about a wedding. Looking forward to reading the rest of the issue. My thanks to the editors!
