How does this activity promote Free Speech on campus? Could you please explain?

Also, what is the situation of the people (including students, Faculty and other workers) participating in ilegal encampments on campus?

Unequivocal statement from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) president Sally Kornbluth on the Institute's decision to end the use of DEI statements:

“We can build an inclusive environment in many ways, but compelled statements impinge on freedom of expression, and they don’t work.”

National Lawyers Guild is a malicious group, its law school chapter organized the attacks on me in 2020, not surprised that on OCTOBER 8 - the day after worst massacre of Jews in almost 70 yrs done with a brutality worthy of the Gestapo, National Lawyers Guild supported 'right to resist'

NEW: MIT has banned the use of DEI statements for faculty hiring and promotions.

This is huge, a turning point — the policy, functionally an ideological weed-out tool, is widely unpopular in academia, but MIT is the first elite private institution to pull the plug.

Despite the chaos today The University of Chicago I had an excellent office hours and lecture. The students come from diverse backgrounds and I'm sure have a range of views on Israel-Palestine. But they showed up and worked hard. They don't deserve this kind of disruption from a selfish few.

Frat parties with offensive themes are swiftly punished. But publicly contemplate murdering Zionists? That’s a different story.

Is there an explosion of plagiarism in the academy these days? Yes, but even worse are the remedies, which miss the point entirely. My latest for the National Association of Scholars.

Here’s a good indication of what’s going wrong in higher education:

66% of U.S. universities require a DEI course to graduate, according to Speech First.

Only 11% of private and 31% of public universities require a course in U.S. government or history, according to American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA).

Students & fellow university faculty: Office workers, janitors, dining hall workers, IT folks, security personnel and other university employees serve us faithfully every day so that we can do our research, teach and learn. To threaten or abuse them for any reason is a scandal.

We need to know who actually financed, organized, and carried out the attacks on our schools. Those attacks consist not only on the riots and disturbance we have seen on media, but on all policies and practices incentivizing or allowing them.

A few words about the protests/encampments at Columbia:

Back in December 2018, when I was a junior, a white student named Julian Von Abele was filmed going on an ethno-centric rant about how much he loved white people. He said things like: “White people are the best thing that…
