Draw a skeleton warm up where you choose an option, exercise, and then draw. For the activity flip and land a basket for a color and color the bones the color they’re circled with

Skeleton QR challenge. I had laundry baskets aging so I cut holes in my broken ones. Great targets for many different skills. Slide your bean bag in without knocking off the dice to get a code. Label bones correctly.

Most of my Ss who struggle with jumping rope, have a hard time turning the rope. So we put the noodles on the handles...It worked a few yrs back & it worked this time. Here are few that couldn't jump but they can now. Worked so well another Ss asked 4 the noodle rope #physed

PE lessons are not an opportunity to pull pupils out for English/Maths interventions!!!!! Leave them in their lesson!! Often those who require such intervention excel in PE and are being dragged out for 10 mins at a time! It frustrates the pupils! Pet hate!!! 😡😡😡😡

Here’s a little trick that helped one of our jump rope beginners. She was worried about hitting herself when she turned the rope so she practiced “catch the cone” first. By the end of class she was able to master one jump! 👏😊 #PCPE SDNB Poplar Creek

Does anyone have a recommendation for a projector? I need it to project across a large space. Mine went out today. Thanks for any help! Phys.Ed.Review

We did a relay style game for teams to build their circulatory and respiratory systems. We then had a discussion about the different systems and how they work together. Lei Dunn, CHES Casey Conger

Focusing on the circulatory system today in #physed using Cody Spruill idea. Students bounce ball into bucket to collect a part for the system and build it as a team on their diagram. Movement while learning our health concept!

I saw Kim Morton use magnet chess Virginia AHPERD. I had to immediately find cheaper magnets on Amazon however I found little people and pathogen, germ, magnets was created. If you stick to a germ you had to do an exercise at a disease prevention sign Lei Dunn, CHES

A lot of great communication and teamwork with this activity. I tied exercise bands and looped jump ropes through it. Each member held on to a rope. Teams needed muscular strength, endurance, and cooperation to stretch the band to pick up a ball and then move it to a bucket.

Skeleton Clips inspired by Mike Graham Skelton Sticks. Students moved together to touch 3 numbers on poly spots, collected a clip, and then clipped it on the correct bone. Only 3 clips had to be repaired today! Pose and play skeletons I got off Amazon.
