Things are happening, a new feasibility study, the "Beeching" fund announcement and a fourth local MP declaring support for the line. Join our campaign and keep this momentum going.

We at CRIL hope to restore passenger services to the Burton - Leicester line which will reconnect a population of 157k to the rail network. We are conducting a feasibility study and need your support, please visit ivanhoeline.org

The "Restore Your Railway" announcement is a giant step forward for our project and we are grateful for all the messages of support. We recognise, however, that the hard work starts here and we are determined to succeed.

Our revamped display is ready to roll. Hopefully it will see some action before the year is out. Our thanks to Jake at Design4innovation for doing such a splendid job.

Attended the excellent DfT briefing for "Restoring Your Railway" yesterday. We are very much looking forward to working with their support team to take our project forward.

It was good to get out with the display and "touch elbows" with the public on Friday. We received expressions of support and had some interesting conversations about the line. We look forward to our next outing.

We have booked a stall in the Coalville indoor market on Saturday 26th September. In the absence of events due to Covid this is one way of gathering support for our campaign. It is also an opportunity to sell CRIL calendars which will give our campaign fund a much needed boost.

CRIL staff at work on our stall at Coalville market on Saturday. A successful event providing an opportunity to meet the public and hear their views and to sell our calendar. Sales going well, we recommend placing orders to [email protected] to avoid disappointment.
