Had a great week hosting Catriona (Peace River) and Jared (Cumberland House) in my lab for the Kirkness program. They learned about PET and even imaged a plant with [18F]FDG!

For sure Lol! I once had a guest speaker from McMaster leave my vehicle walking towards the airport entrance with an animal cracker stuck to his butt! I yelled "John, you have a giraffe stuck to your bottom"...he had kids too and laughed.

Feeling so lucky to be Canadian! My grandpa bought this cabin after WWII. Lucky to have it. The cabins were built along the CN rail. Took my family out fishing this morning and caught this beauty. Let it go to make more baby fish!

It is a large northern pike. Thought I was snagged at first. Our lake is too small for Muskie but they are around in bigger lakes for sure.

My wife is so organized she had the boys new "home school" and her work schedule up on the wall. I added mine later after serious deliberation.

So my wife has many talents! Cake making is one of them. My son Jake turned 9 on the 2nd and Zac turned 12 today. Happy birthday boys. She did a great job (I did the bacon and volcano :)).
