Soldiers from 7th Combat Service Support Battalion have hit the road on the Great Endeavour Rally. They left from Roma and are supporting participants to keep the dozens of vehicles travelling across the Outback. They've already raised $7800 to support people with disabilities.

The scenario saw soldiers from 7th Brigade & NZ Defence Force assault, seize, open & hold a remote airfield then work with Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade 🇦🇺 to evacuate Australian citizens and Approved Foreign Nationals.

AIRFIELD ASSAULT: 400 Aus & NZ soldiers, an M777 artillery section & Bushmasters, supported by Special Forces, flew 2000km on USAF & RAAF C-17s. The Exercise Diamond Trident Tactical Air Land Operation saw them seize, open & hold an airfield then work with DFAT to evac civilians.
