Thank you to colleagues from maternity and neonatal services at Whittington Health NHS Trust for allowing me to join your listening forum in the aftermath of recent shocking civil unrest. It was a privilege to listen to your views, experiences and the impact this has had on you and your families.

I heard about the important work that is happening at the Whittington to ensure that colleagues and service users who are fearful of encountering racism and violence feel safe, and we collectively discussed what the next steps are in working together and taking further action.
