Dr. Gloria Montiel was an invited panelist at the White House COVID-19 Equity Summit, where she highlighted the grassroots pandemic response led by communities of color in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Congratulations to Piya Bose (PhD '14) who has recently been named as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (AVC-SA) at UC San Diego. The new position will begin in January. Bose has more than 18 years of student-facing higher education experience. Congratulations!
