Today, on World AIDS Day, Green Party of Canada leader Elizabeth May joins advocates and allies to honour those affected by HIV/AIDS. We remember the lives lost and renew our commitment to ending stigma, supporting those living with HIV/AIDS, and advancing healthcare for all.

Did you know five people are infected with HIV every day? On #WorldAIDSDay we're reminding Canadians of the UNAIDS goal of zero new HIV acquisition, zero AIDS deaths, and zero stigma and discrimination by 2030. Together, we can work towards an AIDS free future for all.

“Action in the face of inaction.” Canada needs to do more to fight rising HIV infections. We can start with increased funding and removing legislation and barriers that prevent comprehensive sexual health education in schools. Health is a human right. #cdnpoli
