My radio speaker was too loud, with not enough adjustment on the volume knob. I needed to attenuate it, but I didn't have a suitable resistor; so I scrapped another speaker to get the voice coil to use as a resistor. Its helped but I need more.

Settled on an 8.2ohm resistor and a 10uf cap to pad down my home base radio speaker. Decided to try a cap for a little high pass action. I think its pretty good this way, especially since its under my desk, brightens up the sound a touch.
