This week the 7th grade students participated in a Gummy Bear Lab while learning about the Scientific Method. Each student created a hypothesis based off the question- What do you think will happen to a gummy bear when you put it in water overnight?

The 7th grade students are creating a dichotomous key to classify six beans. By creating their own dichotomous key, the students are demonstrating that they understand the standard -S7L1a.

"Popup PBIS" in Science . Today, 52 out of 89 students in Ms. Belser's classes were recognized for being CCMS - Courteous, Cooperative, Mindful, and Scholarly. Way to Go!

Seventh grade students used the flipping of a coin and probability to deepen their understanding of how traits are passed from parents to offspring.

The students in Ms.Belser's Science classes did an outstanding job on the Life Science First Semester Final. The percentage of mastery is 96.2 with only 4 out of 79 students not passing the assessment. Great job!

Today, the 7th grade students participated in a Lab to deepen their understanding of Adaptations and Natural Selection. Students used tweezers and clothespins to pick up rice and raisins. They were able to determine that different beaks are needed based on the food source.
