Starting immediately, we cannot have any volunteers at the garden. We also cannot accept compost donations. Although we are very sad to have to implement these new restrictions, we want to do whatever we can to keep our volunteers healthy. In the meantime, we will miss you all!

Our volunteers finally harvested our peanuts today after 130 days! The peanut plant is unusual because of its long growing cycle and the way it flowers above the ground, but fruits below it

This past week at the garden, we cleared and prepped plant beds with lettuce, collards, swiss chard, beets and arugula! We also distributed the very last of the persimmons.

The dimpled trout lilies (Erythronium umbilicatum) are starting to bloom now in our Mountain Habitat. Stop by in the next couple of weeks to see them before they go dormant for another year! #springephemerals #nativeplants
