The Long-tailed Tits were back again yesterday, gathering nest-lining feathers.
They only produce 1 brood per yr - not surprising given the effort that goes into nest construction.

The water in the manmade Longford River comes from the River Colne. The Longford creates the waterways in Bushy Park before it finally flows into the Thames, so this is relevant to locals.

I do have a very wormy 🪱 garden.
The baby blackbirds will be well fed.
