Missed this initially but pretty spotless analytical profile Took over 70% of his 2PAs at the rim last year Now transfers to one of the highest rim frequency offenses in the country Only problem is he was sub-50% at the cup which is tough to confidently project improvement in

Awesome YoY improvements for Stoj who I believe was the 2nd worst ORTG in the entire Pac 12 his frosh year He also just posted his career-best ORTG in his worst 3P shooting year by a mile, so there is still more upside to tap into Pretty scary to think about what we see if that

What are the chances that Devin Vanterpool ends up being Providence's best player next year? Analytically driven portal rankings will ding him for less-than-stellar efficiency and a 23rd percentile Asst/TO Ratio at FAU, but his profile looks REALLY attractive outside of those

Good tee-up from Isaac to piggyback on the Wilkins/Diallo fit as I know him and I are in the same camp that's slightly different from a lot of the prominent takes I am less concerned with how Wilkins and Diallo fit together as I am with that staff's desire/ability to scheme an

Here are some truly absurd Rueben Chinyelu stats In 18 SEC games, he had: -40%+ DREB% 8 times -Over 50% DREB% 3 times And one run specifically was in another stratosphere altogether. From January 20th until February 17th (8 games), he had 6 (SIX!!!!!) games with a 40%+ DREB%.

Had been monitoring this with Paint Touches since like early December. Back then, there was over a 10% split between expected and actual FG% at the rim That gap closed up as Marquette played better down the stretch, but they spent basically the entire year 1st or 2nd

Death, Taxes, and Eric Olen having another sneaky good backcourt yet again. The synergy between the skillsets of the 3 New Mexico sophomores is a work of art in roster construction Chris Howell gets his waiver and provides a 6'6, defensive-minded, quasi-point-forward, veteran

The good: -Best when downhill. Only P5 guard in the country with 250+ attempts at the rim -Lives at the FT line, solid TO% for his usage level, and is surrounded by highly capable 3P shooters w/ max shot gravity The bad: -Basically everything else

The squabbling of fanbases over this aside, Providence probably needed a lead guard But you look at this profile and tell me where I should be optimistic, because I am inclined to believe that his %Shots mark & Providence's offensive success are heavily inversely correlated

If you have not been a fan of the chalky later rounds of the NCAA tournament the last couple years… I regret to inform you it’s going to be another rough year (I prefer seeing the best teams play for the highest stakes, call me crazy)

When I was looking at Tounde Yessoufou, I wanted to see if there were other non-big men at the P5 level who were ultra efficient at the rim on high usage Stirtz & Philon, no surprise. It would have taken me 200 guesses to come up with Freddie Dilione making this list. FWIW,

(This is also a Yessoufou tweet) 68.5% at the rim is TRULY elite for a 6'5 guy. Being assisted on 50% of those makes will inevitably help that, but when you're the type of specimen that he is, it's not totally surprising to see that level of rim efficiency Unfortunately, over

In the 23/24 season, Sean Miller lost Zach Freemantle and Jerome Hunter to season-ending injuries before their first game In his other 3 years since returning -6 tourney wins -Top 15 KP team in 22/23 with a UTEP transfer and one guy who managed even a cup of coffee in the NBA

I understand why the Texas assist rate was in the toilet last year when you have an elite iso wing surrounded by guys who have never passed in their 8-year careers with Pope/Mark We'll see what that looks like with a Johnson/Lewis backcourt duo more known for their scoring punch
