Will it work? Fingers crossed we miss these storms in #KSWX land but if not, I finally found a good use for my yoga mats. I’m in the highest storm risk area today. #KsAg #Weather #FarmLife

It’s getting interesting in SW Sedgwick County, Kansas. Beautiful rainbow to my east with storm development to my southwest #KSWX

I’m getting a kick out of the clouds developing north of Wichita 😂 It’s like they are lined up smallest to largest. #KSWX

Somehow we didn’t receive any measurable rainfall in SW Sedgwick County yet, but we were treated to a fantastic sunset #KSWX

The storms that just hit SW Sedgwick County have very high winds, constant lightning and heavy rainfall. I don’t have an estimate on windspeed but the electricity is all sorts of mess up from it and the rain fall rates were 3/4 inch in about 10 minutes. #KSWX

We have 3/16 inch of ice, nearly 4 inches of snow and crazy wind taking down tree branches 8 miles south of Cheney. A big shout out to SedgwickCoElecCo-op for keeping the power on! #KSWX

So about the roads in south central Kansas, and by that I mean, what roads. Glad I made it home before dark because the difference between ditch and pavement is blurred. #KSWX Right at 3.5 inches of snow 8 miles south of Cheney as of 6 p.m..

Looks like a fire north of Belmont, KS. 📸 1:45 p.m | March 14, 2025 The smoke is coming from the Ninnescah River area and has a lot of grassland around it. Hopefully emergency responders can get it put out quickly. With winds gusting 40+ MPH, it will be a struggle. #KSWX

Lightning strike or high wind? Only one tree this size knocked down NE of Norwich, Kan. after the storms rolled in and IMO, that’s one too many. All other tree damage was minimal. NWS Wichita #KSWX
