Storm Update-Sedgwick County Electric Coop had outages down to about 5 members (from nearly 2,000 members off). Storms Tuesday, brought significant rain, extremely high winds, tornado and flood warnings. Storms resulted in more broken poles, trees and wire down through our area.

Crews continue to restore power to the Clearwater, Colwich, Goddard, Maize, and Wichita areas. As of 7:00 a.m. Wednesday June 18th, the Cooperative had approximately 780 Members without power. We appreciate our members patience as we continue to work through these outages.

We continue to make progress with our power outages with the help from Ninnescah Electric Coop and 4 Rivers Electric Coop. We are working through this afternoon and evening to have everyone back on tomorrow. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through our outages
