Tip for young pitchers (under 18): Find your fastball identity. Are you a carry, sink, or cut guy? If you can master your FB profile and command, you are setting yourself up for long term success. Everything else works off the fastball. Nail the basics.

Players separate themselves by doing unrequired work. If you only work on your game at team training you'll always be average.

Playing with energy Is not being a cheerleader in the dugout. It is. Backing up bases, running balls out, taking hard turns, taking the extra base, communicating on the field, breaking up double plays and being locked in, focused, motivated and determined.

Uncommitted pitchers and catchers, Kentucky State University (NCAA II) is still looking to add one more catcher and 1-2 more pitchers. Scholarship money is still available.
