I have to admit when I first heard about Sophia Money-Coutts, I thought someone was taking the piss calling her ‘money-coutts’ because she was so posh & related to the banking dynasty. But then realised she was not only as stupid as her name suggests but gets paid to be stupid.

I’m bored of saying it but just remember all this is with the temperature rise of just over one degree when we’re heading towards 3°. And we won’t get net 0 until 2050. Racing towards the cliff.

Birmingham councillors recently voted through the biggest budget cuts in local authority history. Now the council want to ‘consult’ on how to impose some of those cuts. How much is this fake democracy costing?

Saw The Zone of Interest tonight. Watching it, then (re)reading Naomi Klein's review are currently, in my view, civic obligations.

A year ago today, I got a bike for my birthday and tried learning to cycle for the first time. I've made a little video for fun to show my journey over the past twelve months.
I didn't think I'd be able to, so if you've never learned or want to try again, this is your sign🚴

🧯As Labour HQ was painted, people took to the streets of London in support
📢 Despite a ridiculous amount of police repression, and a Section 7 being put in place before they even began to march, we will not be silenced.

There are impossible planning restrictions on wind turbines that do not apply to, e.g., building an incinerator or drilling an oil well.
Our planning system prevents local authorities properly considering climate impacts on one side while it blocks clean energy on the other.
