Indeed we are not. Energetic action it will be. We’re not promised another day let alone a lifetime but I’ll promise to employ energetic action to spare others the fate my family’s been consigned to bear due to an avoidable murder caused by a dirty & pernicious evil called #OIDV .
…now layer on top of that, that it’s a law enforcement officer perpetrating the abuse. Imagine the fear & anxiety of disclosing abuse at the hands of one sworn to protect & defend. It’s an even higher mountain to climb so it’s therefore less likely to be reported. #OIDV
As a father who lost his only daughter to a brutal & sudden murderer, and the father of two married sons, my heart bleeds for you Joe and this brave family.
In as about as few as words as possible, you have summarized EXACTLY what I feel & believe every damn hour of every damn day and what I get out of bed to do. Bingo.

Indeed, I understand “…the tough months” sentiment. Hell, I can spontaneously cry in the lumber aisle at Lowes for (seemingly) no reason at all. I accept it’s just part of my (our?) new lives. I’m certainly with you in spirit. Thanks so much.
Ha! HCSO never hesitates to promote the good stuff - & there IS lots of good to be fair - BUT fairness dictates that you own the bad stuff too if you want to earn real respect. She may not want me to but I see through her/their powerful smokescreen.
