I want to talk about some very concrete next steps now that Roe v. Wade is gone—where we can go on offense as well as defense in our fight for the right to an abortion. Here’s a quick thread:

Everybody in blue states that was like "phew, at least I'll be okay here on Abortion Island" after Roe was overturned: tomorrow a federal district court is hearing arguments re: an Arizona law that if upheld would establish all fertilized embryos as "persons."

Reason # roughly 1,000,000 I’m grateful to live and practice medicine in CA

And here I thought decisions about the legality of abortion were supposed to be left up to the states

They're a 10 but they listen to bowel sounds.
