Next Wednesday, we will be hosting Anne Thompson in the next instalment of our lecture series this year. Anne will be discussing the Bre-X disaster and its lasting impact on industry practise, and how we as geoscientists can maintain investor confidence through proper conduct.

Next Monday, Bristol SEG will welcome AEGIS professor Dr John Thompson as he delivers “Exploration and Mining - A World of Change”. His talk will look at how developments in geoscience, models and exploration tools have shaped what we know of and how we search for ore deposits.
