Food geographies day for our BA Geographers in Sicily! In Catania we checked out the local fish market to investigate meanings of Sicilian produce, then practiced and evaluated different techniques for generating ethnographic datasets 🐟

Time for a bit of a rest before tomorrow's final project day here on our 2nd year Sicily field trip! Thankfully we have a beautiful town to explore in Taormina 🇮🇹

Wrapping up with student presentations on the final day of our 2nd year Geography and Environment field trip to Sicily! We've heard projects on everything from volcanic river change to heritage food tours. One last sleep then it's back to Brighton 👍

Goodbye Taormina and Sicily! Our annual international field trip is finished, well done everyone! 🎉 #Geography & #Environment students off for the Easter break, then writing their fieldwork reports on return to Brighton.
