I just wanted to say a thank you to all of you working endless demonstrations. 👏
There is no other profession that receives such constant and unjustified criticism from people who have not and could not do our job. 👀🤷🏼♂️😂
It’s a privilege to work with you all. #ThinBlueLine 🚨
There’s multiple accounts saying:
“Police don’t wear riot kit against pro - Palestinian marches”
“Police don’t use conditions against pro - Palestinian marches.”
The benefit of showing images & footage from each demonstration, is it’s there for all to see…👀

As I’ve stated on many #PublicOrder days, policing demonstrations is rarely easy & doesn’t ‘look’ pretty. 🤷🏼♂️
When a police cordon is put in place, it’s for a very good reason, often to prevent a breach of the peace, which means officers fear immediate violence.

Wishing His Royal Highness Prince Louis a very happy Birthday! 🎈
Thank you so much for bringing such joy to The Royal Family events.😂
I hope you have a wonderful day & what better time to reuse this excellent selection of reactions from last year! 🫡

When I started acting up as a Sgt, my then Guv’nor said rather poignantly to me; “Deal in facts, not opinions.” 🫡

Hearing of an incident in Derbyshire Police overnight, where a Cop has been stabbed at an incident. 😔
Glad to read they have been discharged from hospital too. 💯
Wishing them a very swift recovery. Thank you to the control room staff & colleagues who helped them. #ThinBlueLine 🚨
A long but enjoyable day at Emirates FA Cup semi final yesterday & same again today! 💯
Whether you’re heading to the TCS London Marathon or Wembley Stadium well worth planning your journey before you set off, to avoid road closures. ⚠️
If you’re working stay safe. #ThinBlueLine 🚨
Just to add a little calm and context…👀
At protests where there are polar opposite views, restrictions are often enforced under S12 & 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 to prevent violence & disorder. 🤷🏼♂️
We’ve used them for nearly 40 years because they work. 💯

“Hello is that the police!?”
“Yes, you’re through to 101”
“Fantastic, there’s a man dressed as a squid trying to play the 🎸 outside my office, can you come down?”
*Don’t say it, don’t say it, don’t say it*
“Not sure sounds a bit fishy to me!”
*Silence* 😂

Wishing our colleague a speedy recovery after they were stabbed on duty last night. 😔
As we’ve scene in recent days over in Australia, a knife attack can end horrendously.
Thank you to all of the Cops who got quickly & to our London Ambulance Service colleagues too. 👏

Remembering WPC Yvonne Fletcher today on 40th anniversary of her death in The Line of Duty. 🚨
WPC Fletcher was policing a protest outside the Libyan Bureau when shots were fired, and she was struck fatally. 😔
Thinking of her friends, loved ones & colleagues. #ThinBlueLine 🇬🇧
Ok so why are 29% of Metropolitan Police Officers looking to leave as soon as possible or within the next two years? 👀
The overriding reason, is the stress that is generated by such a demanding job. 🙃
The stress that’s caused a perpetual exodus of Cops from BCUs since they began in…
