Rainham today and my first Lesser Whitethroat of the year. Gropper near top car park! 15 Common Tern by the sailing club with more passing. A Gt Egret flew across the river and landed on the reserve, Raven 2 Wheatear, Yellow Wag and a Corn Bunting best of the 61 sp. seen

Rainham today and the Bar-tailed Godwits arrived with 48 between Aveley bay and the barges plus a Knot, LRP, 6 Blackwits, Curlew, 4 Oystercatchers, Spoonbill, Gt Egret, 55 Common Tern and more Med Gull movement.

Popped down to Rainham to see the three Black-winged Stilts that arrived today. Showed well but distant in the heat haze. Also a Wood Sandpiper on winter pool with six Ruff. 3 Hobby, a Raven LRP and 2 Med Gulls over 😎
