Fun fact Friday - It doesn’t just happen on TV or in the movies. Many people get married at City Hall. While working in my office I took a quick break to watch this fantastic couple exchanging vows in council chambers. I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

A big thank you must go out to Vancouver city staff who have been working around the clock to clear major routes and keep people safe on our roads.

I support lawful protest. In fact, for years I helped facilitate it. However, damaging a painting at the Vancouver Art Gallery is not protest - it’s simply a criminal act by obtuse people. Spend your time finding solutions instead of wasting it on whatever stupidity this is.

Today we honour all those who have fought to defend our country and those who continue to serve to this day.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation crews, City Engineering staff, and everyone who worked through the day responding to downed power lines and clearing trees & debris after high wind last night.

I was an investigator in the 2011 Stanley Cup riots. This is a reminder to those who participate in this type of destruction and violence, and those who might consider in the future, that they will be identified. If you recognize anyone involved, help police & submit a tip.

Using the murder of this BCRCMP officer to forward a misguided agenda of hate is abhorrent. Is this rhetoric what Pivot Legal Society thinks is a productive way to spend their time or solve issues? Absolutely disgusting.
