Yesterday, our Senior Cadets joined approx. 350 other MPS Cadets in taking part in the annual VPC Remembrance Parade at the Cenotaph. Today BarnetVPC Brent VPC & Harrow Police Cadets were kindly invited down to visit the stables in Great Scotland Yard. They were also lucky enough to witness The Changing of The Guard before paying their respects at the National Police Memorial. Many thanks for having us Met Police Taskforce

Schools and young people in Brent and Harrow took part in a 5 week summer camp with officers. Camp activities included 50 sports, including archery, lacrosse, Fencing, bike riding and more.

Officers continue to work together with their communities towards a common goal.🙌

Today, we were at Roe Green Park in Kingsbury for the 2nd day of Rangeelu Gujarat - an Indian Culture Festival. Our Cadets had a great time!

Sergeants and officers' in Newman held a three-week-long youth engagement summer camp for young people aged 10-17. 🥳

The police-led summer camps help to build trust, confidence, teamwork, respect, discipline, and sportsmanship between the officers and young people.

Brent MPS | North West BCU have been hosting our 8th Met Police Summer Camp. Thanks to Cllr Muhammed Butt, Krupesh Hirani AM for Brent and Harrow and our local councillors Mili Patel Jumbo Chan Brent VPC for visiting our provision for young people across NW London. Places still available for our final week next week 8-3

Today we had fun with clazyer, lacross, basketball and team building. We even got a treat from portroyal. Second week has finished now preparing for our last week.

Last night NW VPC (BarnetVPC Brent VPC & Harrow Police Cadets) held their end of year summer party. We hired inflatables and enjoyed the evening with slushy’s, pizzas, snacks, music and a delivery of Lola's Cupcakes. We placed 14th at the MPS Annual Cadet Competition that took place over the weekend. Our Cadets were absolutely amazing and worked really well together as a team. We are extremely proud of them all! #Gravesend2023
