The Ware/McKittrick smear of Wallace and Holroyd had a hugely detrimental effect on collusion investigations imo. Had Wallace been listened to there would have been a much earlier focus on what came to be known (erroneously) as the Glenanne Gang and its links with Special Branch.

Brehon_is_Best The 'island of Ireland' (increasing in usage) is a construct beloved by the Free Staters because they have appropriated the name 'Ireland' for the 26 Counties which they could easily call the 'Republic of Ireland' without any confusion. Then Ireland would mean all 32 Counties.

The victims of the Dublin/Monaghan bombings which murdered 34 people, the largest loss of life in a single day during the so-called Troubles, and injured almost 300, should be officially commemorated, nationwide, in Ireland every year on May 17th. #LestWeForget

Danny Morrison Catriona King Brehon_is_Best Imho Ireland should be used to describe all of the island, ROI for the 26 counties, Ulster for the nine country province any Northern Ireland for the six counties, then there is no confusion as to exactly what people are talking about. Donegal is in ‘the north’
