On this day 4 years ago a wedge tornado yeeted a drainage pipe at the side of my Explorer. Good times.

Severe weather is likely Mon (4/15) in the central/southern Plains & Tue (4/16) from NE TX to the Midwest. All severe weather hazards are possible including tornadoes, damaging wind gusts, & large hail. More specific forecast details will become available in the coming days.

I could have had my windshield replaced today but decided to save it to be completely obliterated on the chases this upcoming week.

The threat of severe weather will persist tomorrow, this time across the Upper Ohio Valley where an enhanced risk is posted. A slight risk is also posted for parts of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Damaging winds and a few tornadoes are expected to be the main threats.
