During my visit to Roumieh Central Prison in #Lebanon w/ UNODC for Middle East & North Africa we saw firsthand the difficulties faced by the prison system. Limited medical &health services, along w/ severe overcrowding, are compounded by many prisoners awaiting trial without regular court access.
