Went to my first Arkansas Chapter Health Physics annual meeting today. Listened to a few talks, one being: ‘The Past, Present, and Future of Proton Therapy’. Learned the first proton treatment was in 1954 🤯 Thought only cobalt and photon therapy were from the 50s.

Spent a few days in DC for a physics meeting and got to sightsee the Einstein, Lincoln, and Washington monuments. Although it was a quick trip, I made it count! Getting around is so easy between the metro and scooter rentals.
