Successes thus far: ¶ The rate at which we're being told of new tests returning positive has gone down ¶ Some patients have been discharged ¶ More people abiding by the government's directives on managing the pandemic. Surely, we have cause to be grateful. Thank you Lord.

But seriously, what is it that the national anti-corona taskforce isn't doing, that warranted government spending another sh10b so MPs can allegedly sensitise the populace? Where will they find these people? Duplication of duties!

Politicians need to stop promising voters that they will do things that they (the politicians) know full well they won't do, because those things are outside of their mandate. It's why they whine about people lining up at their homes seeking subsistence help.

I refuse to believe that there's absolutely nothing the Trump administration can do to stem all the wanton murders of blacks by, of all people, the police! It's outrageous!

With the Minneapolis police arresting journalists who are reporting about the riots following the ruthless murder of George Floyd, it's clear that the Trump administration isn't too keen on fighting racism. Why is the killer cop still free?

I learnt yesterday of a case where a family whose daughter was due for a caesarian section birth were asked, among other things, for two jerricans of water in the theatre! Like, how do you even ensure it's clean water?

Let food be your first medicine. On top of that nature and your own body play very important roles in your healing. Sunshine and water are 2 powerful forms of medicine. Use them. But also remember that sleep, fasting and #gratitude are powerful healing modalities too.

I like how the two kingdoms of Buganda and Busoga are working together. Maama Nnabagereka signing on the Kyabazinga and Inhebantu's marriage certificate. Humble lady.

Power struggles still persist in Uganda. We're back to the dark ages, where you are not sure whether you will have it at all or it'll be rationed, or whatever...
