DJHL U15AA Provincials … Gladiators BNS-Privateers

Two big games today, both ended in a tie. 4-4 vs the Privateers and 1-1 vs the Spartans. Next up the Crushers tomorrow at 1:30. @ the Privateers our POG was LEO AVERY & our GLADIATOR was BEN SPURRELL. Vs the Spartans our POG was LUCAN MEADE & GLADIATOR was BEN O’BRIEN! WTG BOYS!!

Today’s @DJHLnews Unsung Hero’s were MICHAEL PILGRIM in the Privateers game and JACK CARTER vs the Spartans! WTG!!

Had the opportunity to meet my childhood hero on a few occasions. He was everything I hoped he would be and more. As a kid, I had a jersey with "LaMurph", posters in my room and much more. This personalized plate remains in my office. He will be missed. Thank you Guy!

A big 5-1 WIN against a pesky BNS Crushers U15AA squad in our provincials today. Our HARDEST WORKER JAKE BUDGELL w/ a big effort on both ends of the ice; our GLADIATOR MICAH TUCKER w/ strong defence, physicality & 3G; & the @DJHLnews Unsung Hero CHRIS BROWNE with another big effort!

We want to recognize our Gladiators on a hard fought Provincial tournament this weekend. Not quite the result we wanted but Silver it is. Full credit to the other teams, to the @DJHLnews, and to the @BnsSpartans on a great game today. Congrats to all!!

Tight game 2nite. We played really well overall but lost a close one in a shootout. Our HARDEST WORKER was our BIG D-MAN #99 MICHAEL PILGRIM and our GLADIATOR was #9 TY PEDDIGREW who created opportunities all night. 3rd and final game tomorrow night at 8pm.
