She should sit down and let him handle breakfast for them today.. Can he get her anything in particular?

She’s fine to take a day off. But he’ll go get her a glass and an assortment of medicines to choose from. “Take it easy, cyar’ika. You’re lookin’ pale.”

“I’m not going to lie, whatever it is it looks like it’s taken quite the toll on you.” Bly seats himself at her side of the bed. The palm laid over her thigh urging her the tiniest bit closer. “That first one you took was for your stomach, right? May be a bug.”

“Well if just the weather can do all this I might urge you to check in with someone. Even if it’s just Rahm at the barracks. At least he’s thorough.” He doesn’t want to make too much of a fuss about it but it is very rare to see Zav look so sick and not able to cover it.

Bly nods in agreement and leans up to kiss her cheek before directing himself to the kitchen. Except the emphasis on ‘quickly’ has him nearly skid into the door to reroute for a bag. “Yep, of course, on it.” And she will find him skidding back in with a little bin and bag.

He’s contemplating an early night when he notices the ‘tip tap tip tap tip tap’ of the pen across the room. He shuts his holo hud he had open and looks over. “Something on your mind doll?”

“Hmm, I’ve got time for you though.” Bly sets the rest of his work back into its own back and rises from the table to go and join her. “You can at least start with one.”
