In case anyone failed to notice Sutton United FC’s contempt for women, it has issued a statement making it clear that it will include as many men as it wants in its “women’s team”. And if that ends up being an all-male team, an idea that Clark himself has mooted, that would be

"We reject any form of discrimination" 🙄 Excluding men from women's sports is not unlawful discrimination. Forcing women to play against men is unfair, unsafe & discriminatory against women. The FA Sutton United FC EHRC #SaveWomensSports

Tony Homewood⚒ Actually as far as I’m aware the BSB have been making sensible decisions about (not) interfering with our Article 10 rights. I wonder where the impetus for this proposed change has come from…

The FA used Gendered Intelligence for their trans guidance. GI are worse than Stonewall imo, their policies have infiltrated everywhere. Everything they touch turns to discrimination against women.

This is just ridiculous and inaccurate. Both men and women have breast tissue. Most breast cancer is found in women, with a tiny minority diagnosed in men. Neither men nor women should be advised to look for signs of breast cancer in their chests.

ctaylsaurus New Scientist This can't be answered by a link to a podcast. We have age categories and police them. We have weight categories and police them, very publicly. We have disability categories, and we police them to the tiniest inch of function. Why would we not police sex in sex categories?

Can we please stop using black women as an excuse for not enforcing sex categories in sports? It is out-and-out racism. Black female athletes lose out and are placed in danger when they are forced to compete against men. It’s shameful that in 2024, we need to say that black women

Our sport has lost a talented athlete in the most tragic and unthinkable circumstances. Rebecca was an incredibly versatile runner who still had lots left to give on the roads, mountains and cross country trails. I have been in touch with our Council Members in Africa to see

As I have said to the Times Radio and BBC Radio this morning, the killing of #RebeccaChepteigi shows that no woman is immune to the risk of #femicide, no matter her achievements or background, including women in sports. The public psyche often likes to think that successful

This is good to see from Legal Futures on the 'Bar Standards Board's proposed rewrite of its equality rules'. I'm a black woman, the daughter of Jamaican immigrants, from a working-class background, a lesbian and a barrister. You might think I would welcome these proposals
