Mayor Jill Cole proclaimed that May 2 will be “Police Chief Scott Noel Day” in the City of Blue Ash to congratulate him on his upcoming retirement. Chief Noel will retire in late April/early May after 23 years with the Blue Ash Police Department. Congrats, Chief Noel!

Blue Ash Police Department therapy dog, Licorice, has received an award from the Ohio School Safety Center. He received the 2025 National Therapy Animal Day Award for his dedication to enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of students and staff in Ohio’s schools.

Yesterday evening, Blue Ash Mayor Jill Cole officially swore in our new Chief of Police, Roger Pohlman. In addition, Lt Todd Stewart, Sgt Robert Moe, Sgt Chady Chahine, PO Zac Swearingen, and PO Charles Howard took their oaths of office.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and co-workers of Deputy Larry Henderson. May we all remember his life of service and sacrifice.
