Blood centers across the country are celebrating the one-year anniversary of Blood Emergency Readiness Corps, the nation's first emergency blood reserve. BERC includes 33 blood centers in 41 states who have committed to help keep the blood supply stocked during emergency situations.

We are celebrating our first anniversary today! We have grown to 33 blood centers across 41 states, have been activated 4 times and stand ready to help following any emergency where additional support is needed.
