FINISHED! It took 40 days n 40 nights but proud I seen all 800 pages through. A brilliantly layered story expounding on the depth of black souls in america. So many quotes to reference; listing them all will do no justice. 10/10 Honorée Fanonne Jeffers

Academia is hard. We're encouraged to be impersonal and disconnected. But, sometimes, we meet our people, people who rock with us, respect us as people and not just as colleagues, people who are real-life homies.

Thank you Periloux C. Peay and dr. jordie davies for making this work easier.

Tressie McMillan Cottom gave a brilliant (and beautiful) lecture on “Beauty,” followed by an equally brilliant Q & A session. The supple workings of her minds—what a wonder to behold!! I was ordered to take a picture with her and I happily obliged.

Installed in my seat to hear the fabulous Tressie McMillan Cottom, the guest of Studies in Women, Gender and Sexuality Department. I have admired her work and her mind for years.

DiosMioMD Dr. Briana Barner is teaching the #BlackPodClass. Weight loss should be a side effect, not a goal. Your attitude is outdated and ineffective. Focusing on building a better relationship with my body, focusing on getting moving in ways I CAN has done FAR MORE for the number on the scale than focusing on the number on the scale.

I’m not even arguing, DO NOT COME FOR ME, but the Biden abstainers are ready for Trump and clear on what’s coming? (I’ve accepted this outcome and am bracing with horror.)
