A lot of assumptions are made by consumers-that produce on our supermarket shelves are British,that the local butcher only sources British, that “farm shops” source locally, this isn’t always the case. Farmers are transparent (they have to be as a requirement from those above)

That is where the transparency ends- with the farmer- the processor (middlemen) and retailer ( Tesco ) love to pull wool over the eyes with fake farm names, some clever marketing to make it look and sound British until you read the fine print #knowyourfood
