Can someone at @hamptonbyhilton please contact me asap. I'm being told by one of your hotels that Hampton By Hilton has no ability to help resolve a dispute over a reservation at one of your Hampton hotels. How is that possible? Your company's name is on the hotel.

One for the record books: This is now San Diego wettest August day in city history. The total at 9 p.m. was 1.78 inches, and it has since rained at least 0.03 more. That 1.81 tops the previous record of 1.80 that stood for 150 years. It was set on Aug. 12, 1873.
