A very informative trip to JobCentrePlus yesterday in Blackpool with some of the #YoungAdultCarers .
Learning about what support the Job Centre can offer them & also what they can offer the adults they are caring for too. We ended the afternoon with a game of 'Career Bingo'!😃

Last night we held our annual Take5 Oscar evening for our #youngcarers !
What a wonderful night to celebrate all together at the Village Hotel! Lots of laughter, dancing & yummy food!
The evening is all about our young people & how amazing they are, each & every one of them.🏆🌟
Our young adult carers have recorded their latest podcast to coincide with #YoungCarersActionDay .
They discuss the employability of #youngadultcarers , the barriers they face and how they can overcome them.

It's #YoungCarersActionDay ! This year's theme is fair futures for #youngcarers , focussing on why caring should not be a barrier to learning, earning or being able to get on in life-but for many, it is.
We created our own poem with the help of local poet, Nathan Parker💙
As part of #YoungCarersActionDay , we will be releasing a really special poem created by our #youngcarers & local poet, Nathan Parker.
