Our multidisciplinary team from Aalto University/VTT/Fortum Suomi did synchrotron-SAXS experiments on lignin at MAX IV Laboratory. We go home with immemorable new experiences and plenty of interesting data to analyze. Thanks to the MAX IV/CoSAXS staff for making it reality!

When collecting X-ray and #neutron scattering data of biological samples, the vast amount of data and overlap of features make interpretation challenging. Paavo Penttilä from Aalto University addresses this with #MachineLearning tools, rendering the analysis more efficient. 👨‍💻🧠
