It was a pleasure to meet with World Bank Vice President for our region Victoria Kwakwa and her team during the #SpringMeetings2024 in Washington DC. We discussed #Somalia 's growing portfolio, implementing the new Country Partnership Framework and mobilising new resources.

Supporting the most vulnerable countries adapt to the impacts of climate change is a priority for 🇬🇧. We are working to improve access to #ClimateFinance for countries that need it most, such as 🇸🇴, through the #Taskforce on Access to Climate Finance & our $2bn pledge to Green Climate Fund
This is a fantastic achievement which follows on from the Paris Club negotiations last month. We are grateful to the UK in Somalia🇬🇧🇸🇴 Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and all creditors for their support in addressing #Somalia ’s unsustainable debt burden. We Look forward to a prosperous post HIPC future.
